better late than never: Kind Week Re-Cap

This is the first of many re-caps... from Kind Week until now we've been running from here to there and everywhere which has left us little time for blogging!  So, in an effort to play catch up, this is the first of many blogs letting you know what's been going on in the KIND world since Kind Week!

Kind Week was the last week of September and it was a huge success!  Kind Week began with a HUGE day in Kind Campaign's world: the theatrical release of Finding Kind presented by IndieFlix!  Lauren and I, along with a group of friends, went to see Finding Kind at an AMC Theatre at Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica!  We've seen the film shown in theatres before, but there was something very surreal about this moment.  Walking down Third Street, a street I have casually walked down hundreds of times, to look up and see FINDING KIND in the marquee and the poster on display made my heart beat a bit faster.  It was such a proud moment for me and Lauren, and one that we will treasure forever.

Over the course of that week, we held screenings and assemblies at several organizations and schools locally.  It was a great way to lead into October, National Anti-Bullying Month!

Needless to say, we had a pretty busy week!  To top it off, Finding Kind landed on the HOMEPAGE of Starbucks Digital Network (with a big shout-out and thanks to our distribution company, IndieFlix, for making that happen)!  That's right, every time someone logged onto the internet from their computer in a Starbucks they saw a Starbucks exclusive Finding Kind trailer!!  How cool!?

Like I said in the beginning, Kind Week was a huge success!  Thanks to anyone who went to see Finding Kind in theatres in NY and LA!  Also, a big thanks to all of the organizations and schools who booked us for Kind Week!  We had a wonderful time meeting some pretty awesome girls and women throughout our events that week and really, we were just getting started!  Kind Week was just the beginning of an amazing year of traveling for Kind Campaign assemblies and Finding Kind screenings!  Stay tuned for more updates on what's been going on in the world of KIND.
